The days are long and the moons are short! 🌝
Hello once again, animals!
Following my creative muse has lead me down a number of paths, as you may have noticed by now. The ANML token on Algorand was born out of the need to better organize and incentivize stakeholders of Martin Geddes and I’s 11:11 For Change to Make Censorship History NFT + Signed Book project, while also birthing my next NFT collection — Anml Style, which began on Jan 1 of this year. It was important to me to get this project started on the first of the year, and continue throughout. While my NFT output has not quite found the consistency I had hoped for, I consider the single-most important aspect of consistency in this regard to be the consistent payout of full-moonly 🌝 ANML rewards to all current holders of my NFTs. Thanks to help from @SpeculationHill, we have done that. TOMORROW is another full moon, and Anml rewards will be sent out again, as they have consistently done.
A Traditional Approach to Capital Raising
While I have LOVED minting my art on the blockchain, and earning revenue for it in Algo (despite the market downturn) — I have felt a need to provide buyers greater definition of what they are buying. Still in its infancy, the NFT revolution brings up many questions for all of us. And I am still am far from having all the answers — So I have some questions further down this email I would appreciate your input on!
From the very beginning of both the Anml Style and 11:11 for Change collections, I have embedded the ‘sol wave’ logo into each NFT I have produced in these collections. This has been an artist-designer experiment to grow a brand natively in the realm of ‘web3’. However, the choice to build on Algorand came without DAO infrastructure tooling ready-made. I can see that this has stifled organic growth in regards to being a real ‘decentralized autonomous org’. I maintain a desire to grow the AnmlStyleDao — and I currently believe that the way forward is, ironically, to get funded through traditional fundraising means as a corporation. That corporation was called Sol Forms Inc, and has now been renamed to Behere Inc. — incorporated in Wyoming.
We made a decision at Behere to focus first on opening cocreative spaces that would bring together the ‘future of work’ with the ‘future of education’. We’re certainly not thinking small. We see a need to rethink everything, as the great awakening takes hold, and the collective angst against all incumbent institutions roars into an unstoppable firestorm of change. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.
There will certainly be technical solutions to support coworking memberships at Behere, as our company gets funded and the physical community grows — with intent to have locations all over this country (USA). I see an opportunity to plug ‘the future of education’ directly into ‘the future of work’, as we seek to serve people in the greatest ways we can imagine. My current perspective is that NFTs and the Algorand blockchain likely have a big role to play in plugging these two together. I am definitely imagining NFT certificates for completed workshops, courses, and cocreative projects. We’ve barely tapped the surface of ideating in this regard.
You’ve likely seen my offer for “SAFE NFTs to Behere by” now, if you’re reading this newsletter in chronological order — all good, if not. One thing I would like to clarify is that the future equity is NOT contained with the NFT itself. The first-time buyer of the NFT will sign a SAFE agreement with us, and the NFT purchase is like a receipt, public and transparent to anyone looking over on Algoexplorer : )
What’s next for Anml Style?
I could use your help co-creating the best path forward for the Anml Style NFT collection. What is the highest and best possible incarnation of this project? 🤔
Thinking more future-oriented, it has certainly crossed my mind that I’d like to invite young artists to participate in the project. My own 4.5 and 7 year olds are on their way to creating characters — which I so love to see ❤️🙏. Of course, I’ve already included my adaptation of Fin’s Xtron into the collection. Anml Style is very much on par with valuing nature and outdoor enrichment at Behere. Encouraging aspiring artists to embrace their Anml Style and guiding them into creating art in the future of finance seems like it could be a great move as we lean into cocreating the future of education! What do you think?
I do have a few pieces of unpublished art I intent to release soon. One of them features the super-bowl MVP quarterback of the packers — Aaron Rodgers, whom I had the pleasure of meeting several weeks ago at a coffee shop. It remains to be seen if he will support the project, but I would like to support him regardless. He has been an iconic and humble ambassador of Freedom on the world stage — I can definitely appreciate that. And on the road to Make Censorship History, I certainly have some words for the SAMO© rags that did everything they could to cancel him. I’ll have to get this art polished and release it soon. What am I waiting for? 🤔

What is the single most effective thing you believe I can do to elevate my game in the world of NFT art? What can WE do to elevate our game? What message needs to be heard most? What message is most popular? What message could be important to deliver through art, even if it is unpopular? How can I apply my creative skillset to have the highest impact for good imaginable?
